he "Disabled" state of plugins is gone and I've replaced Install/Uninstall with Activate/Deactivate. Behind the scenes it's very similar, but I think this is a little clearer. You download a plugin. Then from there you can activate/deactivate it. For developers note that Activate runs install,php, migrate.php, and activate.php so no change is required on your part to keep your plugin compatible with 5.3.6. The other big change is the ability to delete (more like purge) a plugin. By default (and without any developer intervention) the delete button will toss up a warning and then look for a delete.php file. That is where developers will optionally write script to remove any tables/columns they created (if it makes sense to do so). And then the plugin manager will recursively delete the plugin folder. This version also includes @Brandin's fix for more gracefully dealing with someone who deleted a plugin without uninstalling it first.
