Summary	Clas Input.php don&#039;t save swedish letters å,ä and ö in db
Description	Hi I have had a problem all theese years using your fantastic product. Each time there is an upgrade of input.php I had to change in line 75 from: return trim(htmlentities($item, ENT_QUOTES, &#039;UTF-8&#039;)); to: return trim(htmlspecialchars($item, ENT_QUOTES, &#039;UTF-8&#039;)); To get å,ä and ö to be saved in db. Is there any reason for not to change that? Best regards Björn

Unfortunately this can't be changed directly. We're going to offer a way to override classes, but doing this on the existing class would break all existing user accounts. If we use a different sanitization method, all existing password hashes would be broken. It's on my radar to come up with a solution, but htmlspechialchars would break existing installs.
