I strongly agree. I remember there was a search bar in older versions i have really missed this feature.

Even in the old version though we loaded all users. Something we can do however is if there is more than x users (maybe 500?) we bring you to a search page instead of the User List.

I don't have a good solution for this other than reverting to a non-datatables solution.

We have found a way to do this with datatables. we'll be testing.
