Summary	Username is e-mail address when registering with a Google account
Description	<p>I think username shouldn't contain an e-mail as it might be displayed publicly.</p> <p>To fix open \users\classes\User.php and insert the following code before line 226:</p> <p><code>$new_username = $username;</code><br /><code>$atsymbol = strpos($username, '@');</code><br /><code>if ($atsymbol !== FALSE) $new_username = substr($username, 0, $atsymbol);</code></p> <p>and then replace $username with $new_username in the insert query in the next line</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

<p>Theres no elegant way to apply this to existing users without potentially breaking compatibility backwards, at this time this will not be introduced.</p>
