Summary	Bio Plugin Not Filling Registered Users
Description	<p>Pullover from Discord Support channel,</p> <p>The USpice bio plugin (as I was sorting through the code) in bio/files/profile.php has an SQL query <code>SELECT * FROM profiles LEFT JOIN users ON user_id = users.id WHERE user_id = ?</code>, which seems to me (not an SQL expert) to be calling all the users from profiles and joining in the 'users' table to get people's names, account IDs, Bios, etc.<br /><br />However, on going through it, and opening up profiles in MySQL Workbench, profiles only has the two default user accounts in it - and isn't actively populating with new users (Anyone other than the first two who were already created) so the system can't create or save their bios. <br /><br />Is this an "intended" thing and I have to make all the other rows manually, or is it meant to read in everyone automatically or what now?</p> <p>Image of example: https://i.imgur.com/fMEYM3K.png</p> <p>------</p> <p>Added thoughts:</p> <p>1) New bios are not made on viewing the nonexistent bio - it just displays an incomplete framework.<br />2) Though adding something for during user creation would only work for uaccts which are made after the bio plugin is made, perhaps a "create if not exist" statement two places - one during ucreation and one during bio plugin install for all users already existing could work<br />3) Another possibility is to modify profiles sql table to use user tables ID as a foreign key</p> <p> </p> <p>Pushed over here by request from Dan</p>
