Summary	Session Stays open and locked whenever you use users/init.php
Description	Problem occurs when using users/init.php at the top of your script. It opens session (session_start()) but doesn't close writing to it at any point (for instance session_write_close();) This is a problem if a page takes long to load, as it locks the session and all subsequent page loads wait for it. Especially bad if script is using SSE which can be configured for 30-60 second runs of a php script, as all subsequent loads are locked out, even after user closes the tab and reopens it, the php script is still completing in the background.

<p>Session locking is a traditional norm in PHP and I don't see a reason to stop doing that in UserSpice. If you have a specific use-case, as you mentioned, you can close the write. </p>

<p>Do you have a proposed solution? This has never really caused a problem for me. If a script is still running putting some sort of close feature in the footer wouldn't really do anything.</p>
